Concept illustration of AI and staff supporting conversations across social comments and chat channels

ConversionIQ at a glance

A shopper asks about a product on social media. Another wants to book an appointment through your website. Your team is busy, so both wait. ConversionIQ aims to help businesses answer those questions with AI and pass conversations to a person when needed.

The platform at conversioniq.ai combines customer chat with social comment handling across channels including web chat, social platforms, SMS, and WhatsApp. Monthly plans start at $99, with usage measured in AI Actions. This guide covers that platform, not the similarly named marketing analytics product. Official product overview

Worth considering if: your team struggles to keep up with repeated questions across channels.

Less compelling if: you only receive a few simple questions each week. A clear FAQ and timely replies may be enough.

The main thing to check: how well it handles your actual questions and passes exceptions to your team. A long list of supported channels doesn't answer that for you.

What do CommentResponder and ChattiLive do?

CommentResponder handles social media comments, while ChattiLive handles customer conversations. ConversionIQ describes them as connected parts of the same platform. ConversionIQ overview

Think about the question being asked. “Does this come in blue?” may need a quick public reply. If a request involves personal details, decide where the conversation should continue and who will handle it.

Start with the questions you answer most often. List which ones the AI could answer from your product information and which need a person, such as requests for an exception to a policy.

Example: from a customer question to follow-up
  1. Interest: a customer asks a product or appointment question.
  2. Answer: the assistant uses approved business information.
  3. Next step: the customer gets the right booking page or contact details.
  4. Follow-through: a team member handles exceptions and follows up.

Imagine a furniture showroom receiving questions about viewing appointments. During a trial, check whether customers get the right booking link and understand the next step. The number of replies alone won't tell you that.

Can conversations reach the right person?

A CRM is a system for keeping track of customers and prospective customers. ConversionIQ names Salesforce, HubSpot, GoHighLevel and Zoho in its integration FAQ. It also describes escalation to live agents with conversation context. Official FAQ

Ask for a demo using the CRM your team already uses. Does the right customer record get created or updated? Who gets notified when a person needs to take over? Can they pick up the conversation without making the customer start again?

Include a question the AI shouldn't answer on its own, such as a request for an unpublished discount. It should acknowledge the limit or pass the request to a person rather than invent an offer.

Pricing: AI Actions are not the same as customers

The official monthly plans are listed in US dollars. An AI Action can be a moderated comment or a chat response, so one customer interaction can involve several billable actions. Official pricing

Monthly fees and AI Actions, in USD
PlanMonthly feeIncluded actionsExtra action
Starter$99100$0.30
Standard$199750$0.25
Premium$4992,500$0.15

Budget by activity, not visitor count. In a hypothetical month with 500 actions on Starter, the base and overage calculation is $99 + 400 × $0.30 = $219. That example excludes taxes and applicable channel fees.

The pricing page also lists channel-related fees, spending controls and a 14-day trial without a credit card. Confirm the current terms and your intended channel costs before activating. Pricing details

Check your languages and store connections

ConversionIQ's FAQ advertises 91 languages but does not individually establish Japanese support in the material reviewed here. We have not verified a Japanese pilot, a LINE connection or a native Shopify integration. Language and integration FAQ

If you sell internationally, ask for a demo in the languages your customers use. Test a realistic question with local product names or an ambiguous delivery request, not just a greeting. If Japanese, LINE, or Shopify access is essential to your setup, confirm it before subscribing.

If you mainly need chat for a Shopify store, compare the tasks in our Zipchat guide. Being able to discuss a product doesn't necessarily mean an app can access the customer's order.

What should you test first?

  1. Choose one channel and one outcome, such as completed appointment requests.
  2. Prepare current answers, unavailable information and handoff instructions.
  3. Run ten representative conversations, including ambiguity and an exception.
  4. Check what reached the customer and the responsible teammate.
  5. Record actions used, manual work remaining and incorrect answers.

Decide in advance what would make the trial worth continuing. Fewer missed inquiries and less time spent on routine replies may be enough—provided the answers are accurate and your team can handle follow-up. Our trial checklist walks through the preparation.

Frequently asked questions

Is ConversionIQ the right tool for getting more search traffic?

ConversionIQ focuses on conversations after someone contacts your business. If the problem is being discovered in search, start with our Ranked AI guide. These services address different stages of the customer journey.

Does AI replace the person responsible for sales?

You'll still need someone to check business information, handle unusual requests, and follow up. The AI shouldn't promise something your team can't deliver.

What should I ask for in a demo?

Bring a common customer question, a request that needs a person, and the name of your CRM. Ask to see what happens from the first message through to the team's follow-up.
