What will Loox cost your store?
Start with two numbers: monthly orders and published reviews per product. Orders affect the bill; reviews affect whether some AI features can work on the products you care about. Looking at both prevents a cheap-looking plan from becoming an expensive mismatch.
Also write down your immediate goal. Collecting your first customer photos is a different job from translating an established review library. Our Loox overview explains the wider product; this guide focuses on the buying decision.
Prices below are in US dollars, checked against official sources on September 6, 2026. Calculations are editorial examples before taxes, not quotes or results from a store we operate.
The three plans at a glance
Loox lists Beginner as free, Convert from $49.99 per month and Unlimited at $299.99 per month. Its Unlimited offer includes Convert's functionality and priority support. Official pricing
| Plan | Monthly price | Main budgeting condition |
|---|---|---|
| Beginner | $0 | Up to 500 total orders after the trial; up to 2,000 request emails per month |
| Convert | From $49.99 | First 300 monthly orders, then $50 per additional 300 orders |
| Unlimited | $299.99 | Compare against Convert's expected bill as volume grows |
The conditions come from the Beginner guide and Convert documentation. Check the subscription approval screen if you have an older plan or a different offer.
Free does not mean 500 new orders every month
Beginner's eligibility is based on cumulative orders after the trial ends. A store receiving 100 orders a month will eventually reach that threshold even though no individual month exceeds 500. Your actual dates and counted orders determine when that happens.
The 2,000 monthly email allowance is a separate measure. It does not expand the order eligibility limit. Write the two limits on separate lines in your budget so that review collection capacity and free-plan availability are not confused.
For an early-stage shop, the practical question is how long basic collection will meet its needs. There is no reason to forecast a precise upgrade date from a sales target alone. Use actual orders, then revisit the decision as the store develops.
Model an ordinary month and a promotion month
Using Convert's published increments, 300 orders would be $49.99, 600 would be $99.99 and 900 would be $149.99 before taxes. These are simple calculations from the listed terms. The number of people you ask for reviews is not a substitute for the order count used for billing.
Choose one recent ordinary month and one busy month. Estimate both, then compare the larger figure with Unlimited's listed price. A plan that fits a quiet month can become less attractive during a seasonal campaign.
Include other apps in the same worksheet. If you already pay for review translation or another display tool, check whether the functions overlap. Similar feature names do not prove that one app can replace another: test the storefront experience before removing anything.
- Count: record ordinary and peak monthly orders.
- Choose: name the features you actually need.
- Compare: calculate both months and consider the next plan.
- Confirm: match the approval screen to your worksheet.

Check feature eligibility before paying for AI
AI Review Summaries require Convert or Unlimited and at least ten published reviews for an eligible product. Paying for access does not create a useful review library where none exists. Summary requirements
Automatic review translation is also available on Convert and above. Translating the review text is separate from translating interface elements such as forms and buttons. Translation requirements
Give each proposed feature a test product and a question. For summaries, count published feedback on a bestseller. For translation, select a product with comments about dimensions or fit. That produces a useful trial plan instead of a checklist of attractive feature names. See our Loox AI and translation guide for a focused evaluation.
What to record during a trial
Our suggestion is to inspect the same product page at the start and end. Check the mobile layout, readability and whether the purchase button remains easy to find. A short trial is better for testing suitability than making confident claims about revenue impact.
Save the approved plan name, base charge, usage terms and trial end date. If you are moving from a legacy subscription, compare that actual contract with the new offer rather than assuming the public page describes your existing bill.
Frequently asked questions
Can a low-volume store justify a paid plan?
Yes, if it needs a feature unavailable on Beginner. If the immediate goal is simply collecting customer photos, eligible stores can consider starting with the basics.
Which plan is cheapest in practice?
That depends on order volume and required features. Compare expected total charges, then confirm the terms shown before approval.
What should I configure first?
Start with the review request workflow. Give customers time to use the product and make sure multiple apps are not sending the same request.
